Bisleri foundation has given us the recycled and reused plastics in the form of 2 seating tables in turn for 147kgs of MLP plastics collected by our SVCET

We have signed MoU with Bisleri foundation under their CSR Initiative for collecting and recycling one use plastics, MLP plastics, used pens a year ago.

After a year of continuous efforts and progress by our NSS officer and his faculty team and student volunteers, (Mr.Selvakumar AP/ EEE and Mr. Karthikeyan AP/ Mech), we have handed over nearly 146 kg of one use and MLP plastics to Bisleri foundation.

To embark the day of World Earth Day, we have organised series of activities in our campus such as campus cleaning, one use plastics collection, tree sapling plantations in collaboration with Bisleri foundation.

As a part of the event, Bisleri foundation has given us the recycled and reused plastics in the form of 2 seating tables in turn for 147kgs of MLP plastics collected and handed over by us to them.

Each chair is made of 60 kg plastic which was given by our NSS team to them.

Apart from this, we also collect used one use pens from our students and the same is handed over to them for recycling..

In return to the used pens, they will provide us biodegradable pens.
